witness to road accidents
Im a real coward. I never denied it. Which might account to my being a bystander in life.
Some roads I could have crossed but I was too afraid to take those first steps that I never realized the willingness of person on the other side to meet me halfway. And before I knew it, traffic made it impossible for me to cross. And silly me stood there waiting for the traffic to clear. Only the person has moved on.
These type of situations really contributes to a person being whiny. Just another one of my flaws. But you know, it just dawned on me that it isnt that bad.
Being a coward that I am, I make it a point to collect people's experiences and make theories. (pathetic, i know, but we all have our kicks). And lately the stories I have heard somehow lessened the pressure that society imposes, you know... the happily ever after thing.
Both stories were about breaking up. One insists that right after the break up, the perfect partner suddenly appeared. 0_0'
The other one was so depressed she refused to get up for a month, had to see a psychologist and take anti-depressants. The family went out of the country for a change in atmosphere. And this is a really smart and pretty businesswoman!
I'm hoping I get enough gumption to actually cross the road sometime, but I think I'll wait for the crossing guard. Better yet, I hope he carries me.
